Glendaliz Camacho is the Director of Development at MediaJustice. She is responsible for leading MediaJustice’s development strategy and implementation. For 14 years, Glendaliz has assisted nonprofit organizations in telling their stories and fulfilling their missions. Her experience is securing philanthropic support for organizations in a fundraising and development capacity, including government funding, foundation grants, corporate giving, individual donors, and special events. Her previous professional experiences have spanned from construction sales and publishing to teaching and writing to program coordination and management. She is based in Queens, New York but was raised in Washington Heights, an enclave of Dominican immigrants, in Upper Manhattan. Glendaliz loves caring for houseplants, tries to maintain a mediation practice, and has most recently enjoyed time in the Dominican Republic and Italy.
