Highlander Research and Education Center

Highlander serves as a catalyst for grassroots organizing and movement building in Appalachia and the South. Through popular education, participatory research and cultural work, we help create spaces — at Highlander and in local communities — where people gain knowledge, hope and courage, expanding their ideas of what is possible.

Southerners on New Ground (SONG)

SONG is a home for LGBTQ liberation across all lines of race, class, abilities, age, culture, gender, and sexuality in the South. We build, sustain, and connect a southern regional base of LBGTQ people in order to transform the region through strategic projects and campaigns developed in response to the current conditions in our communities. SONG builds this movement through leadership development, intersectional analysis, and organizing.

Generation Justice

Generation Justice (GJ) is a multiracial, multicultural project that trains youth to harness the power of community and raise critical consciousness through leadership development, civic engagement, media production and narrative shift in the areas that most impact New Mexicans- racial justice, health, education, early childhood development, and economic security.

Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico

TGRCNM is dedicated to serving the transgender communities in the state of New Mexico and strives to exist as a clearing house for resources which can support, assist, educate, and advocate for the transgender and gender non conforming population of this state and their families and loved ones. We provide social, educational, emotional, and functional support for all facets of transgender living and promote mutual understanding, acceptance, and equality to achieve a more positive and healthy society.

Southwest Workers’ Union

The Southwest Workers’ Union (SWU) is an organization of low-income workers and families, community residents, and youth, united in one organizational struggle for worker rights, environmental justice and community empowerment. Based in San Antonio, Texas, SWU empowers and organizes its 2,500 members through education, leadership development, and direct action.
