House of Pentacles

House of Pentacles (HOP) is focused on cultural organizing and narrative power led by and for Black Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people. HOP believes there is no racial justice nor trans justice without economic justice.

HOP launched with our founder’s Black Trans resources in 2018 with a simple mission: To train the next generation of Black Trans storytellers and filmmakers, leverage our brand to get Black Trans filmmakers paid projects in their communities, and pay Black Trans film fellows to work on House projects that further the stories of Black Trans people globally. We are Black Trans people telling Black Trans stories. We are recording our own histories, and we are making ourselves unforgettable. Our house is built on tenets of survival, creative resistance, and family. Much like the ballroom house scene we help each other survive, stunningly!

Rural Strategies works through strategic communications, coalition building, and public information campaigns to help establish a more connected, greener, and more inclusive rural America.

Detroit Community Technology Project

Detroit Community Technology Project was born from a legacy of coalition work and collaboration, building on Allied Media Projects’ (AMP) nine year track record of digital media education and community technology building in Detroit.

Movement Alliance Project (MAP)

 Movement Alliance Project builds power with community organizations working at the intersection of race, technology and inequality. We run strategic campaigns, lift up untold stories, and build infrastructure for poor and working people to win lasting power and a just society.

For 50 years, the United Church of Christ has been a leader in the fight for media and technology that is more accessible and accountable to local communities — more local, more diverse, more just. Building on its legacy, today OC Inc. continues to hold the media accountable and fight for media diversity.
