Eli (he/him) is the Sr. Grants and Partnership Manager at MediaJustice. In this role, Eli works to build transformative philanthropic relationships with foundations, community partners, and movements, in support of MediaJustice.
He joins MJ with a decade of experience in fundraising, business development, and political organizing. He’s leveraged his skills as a writer, strategist, and advocate to mobilize resources for racial and social justice causes, such as government transparency, poverty alleviation, LGBTQIA+ rights, and social and emotional learning. He is dedicated to using his voice and skills to advance justice and equitable policies and practices throughout our systems and institutions.
Outside of work, Eli enjoys consuming and analyzing popular culture, books, television, and movies. An aspiring fiction author, he’s currently working on a novel loosely based on parts of his upbringing growing up as a preacher’s kid (PK). He currently resides in Baltimore, MD.
