Following the death of George Floyd’s death, corporations rushed to put out statements supporting Black lives — but months later, these companies are coming up short on their promises. The Silicon Valley mantra of “move fast and break things” has led to the growth of some of the world’s largest corporations at the expense of communities of color. We’re holding these companies accountable for exploiting users, aiding racist law enforcement, and failing to protect users of color from hate speech.
