Tomorrow, we’re proud to be hosting the #DataJustice Lab at the second Data for Black Lives (D4BL) conference—a gathering of activists, organizers, and academics who are “using data science to create concrete and measurable change in the lives of Black people.”
The #DataJustice Lab is a pre-conference convening with a goal of “Bridging Data, Research, and Racial Justice,” centering the work of the movement organizers and activists of color in the delegation we’re bringing to the conference in Boston. They’ll be discussing the most pressing digital rights issues facing our most vulnerable communities with some of the country’s leading researchers, data scientists, and technologists—workshopping solutions and advancing our collective fight for media justice.
Catch a live-streamed panel from the #DataJustice Lab tomorrow at 12:30 pm ET on our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter and Instagram all day for live updates.
