The countdown for Net Neutrality has begun.  On February 26th, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is set to vote in strong Net Neutrality rules that will protect all Internet users for generations to come.  Though we are only days away from winning a long and hard fought campaign, we haven’t won yet.

At this very moment the largest telecommunications corporations in the United States (Comcast, Verizon, AT&T and Time Warner Cable) are spending millions of dollars lobbying to try and stop the FCC from passing real net neutrality.  These Internet gatekeepers are so desperate they’ve convinced conservative members of Congress to introduce really bad legislation, investigate the FCC, and even put out hilariously inaccurate videos.

That’s why the Media Action Grassroots Network is putting these corporate gatekeepers on blast.  For the next week, MAG-Net members in 6 different cities are organizing actions at the doorstep of these Internet Service Providers to deliver one very clear message: #DontBlockMyInternet.

If you live in San Antonio, the Bay Area, Champaign-Urbana, New York, or Albuquerque, click on your city for details of a local action. Stay tuned for the sixth action.

If you don’t live in one of these cities you can still join in by tweeting at your Internet Service Provider #DontBlockMyInternet.  (Click on your provider and tweet)

You deserve better than them, and if the FCC passes strong net neutrality rules, you just might get it.
