Annie Chabel is a dynamic nonprofit leader with extensive experience in organizational transformation and fundraising. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at The Intercept, she leads strategic vision, operational management, and growth, driving innovation and expanding the organization’s impact and funding base. Annie was previously the Chief Operating Officer at The Center for Investigative Reporting, where she oversaw all business operations for the organization and served as interim CEO in 2021. Annie served on the Institute for Nonprofit News’s Emerging Leaders Council in 2021.
