MediaJustice

Amanda approaches the systems of finance and accounting from a relational point of view, with the knowledge that every person has a different association to the language and methodology of finance based on personal or professional histories, accessibility, and issues of equity. She is actively involved in communities focused on rethinking economics and reforming the culturally uniform financial practices that perpetuate racial, social, economic, and environmental injustices.

As the Director of Finance at MediaJustice, Amanda brings more than 18 years of finance and accounting leadership in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and a passion for working collaboratively in the service of public good. She finds purpose in creating order out of chaos and providing an accurate and meaningful exchange of critical financial information to inform the goals of the organization and contribute toward the best possible outcome.

Amanda is based in Seattle and seeks solace in areas such as: reading books about quantum physics, discovering politically relevant comedy, staring at the sky, listening to accounting podcasts, and being part of creative communities that work to solve complex social problems with high sensitivity and deep empathy.
