Imran Siddiquee is the Communications Director at MediaJustice. They are a writer, filmmaker, and activist challenging the representation of gender and race in popular media. Their writing on white supremacy, patriarchy, and pop culture has been published at The Atlantic, Buzzfeed, Mic, and Longreads, among elsewhere. Imran was a founding member of The Representation Project, where they led nationwide campaigns to call-out sexism in the media. They additionally collaborate with the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) in Philadelphia to document, preserve, and share the varied histories of South Asian Americans.
