Freedom To Thrive

Freedom To Thrive’s mission is to abolish the punishment-based carceral systems through transformative organizing, strategic partnerships and convening shared learning spaces. Our work centers around combating crimmigration– the intersection of criminal-legal and immigration enforcement– using a Pro Black, gender-affirming lens.

Grassroots Global Justice Alliance

Grassroots Global Justice (GGJ) is an alliance of over 60 US-based grassroots organizing (GRO) groups of working and poor people and communities of color. GGJ brings GRO groups into a long-term process of relationship building, political alignment and transformational leadership development. We weave and bridge together US-based GRO groups and global social movements working for climate justice, gender justice, an end to war, and a just transition to the next economy

Comfrey Films (Formerly House of Pentacles)

Comfrey Films is focused on cultural organizing and narrative power led by and for Black Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people. CF believes there is no racial justice nor trans justice without economic justice.

CF launched with our founder’s Black Trans resources in 2018 with a simple mission: To train the next generation of Black Trans storytellers and filmmakers, leverage our brand to get Black Trans filmmakers paid projects in their communities, and pay Black Trans film fellows to work on House projects that further the stories of Black Trans people globally. We are Black Trans people telling Black Trans stories. We are recording our own histories, and we are making ourselves unforgettable. Our house is built on tenets of survival, creative resistance, and family. Much like the ballroom house scene we help each other survive, stunningly!

Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico

TGRCNM is dedicated to serving the transgender communities in the state of New Mexico and strives to exist as a clearing house for resources which can support, assist, educate, and advocate for the transgender and gender non conforming population of this state and their families and loved ones. We provide social, educational, emotional, and functional support for all facets of transgender living and promote mutual understanding, acceptance, and equality to achieve a more positive and healthy society.

Progressive Technology Project

Our mission is to help community organizations achieve their goals more effectively and efficiently. Our programs help community organizers build their skills and understanding to integrate technology into the work of the organizations. PTP was founded by grassroots organizers to support social change community-led organizing in low-income communities and communities of color in 1998. PTP strengthens grassroots social change community organizing in poor communities and communities of color by delivering specialized training for community organizers in communications and database technology creating and supporting an online database (PowerBase) for organizing providing a framework for technical assistance.

Prison Radio

Prison Radio’s mission is to challenge unjust police and prosecutorial practices which result in mass incarceration, racism and gender discrimination. We do this by bringing the voices of men, women and kids into the public debate and dialogue on crime and punishment. Our radio broadcasts help spur the public to examine core issues that create crime and heighten disenfranchisement. Our educational materials serve as a catalyst for public activism, strengthening movements for social change.
